The cookies simply contain a unique identifier which helps us to know what our customers find interesting and useful on our website, almost like a continuing questionnaire. Like many web site operators, McIntyre Equipment also uses a Log Analyser to measure and analyse the internet usage across the Network. McIntyre Equipment uses Log Analyser tracking code to collect the following core information on the usage of the Power Equipment network: . The number of page views (or page impressions) that occur on the Network; . The number of unique visitors to the Network; . How long these unique visitors (on average) spend on the Network when they do visit; and . Common entry and exit points into the Network. This aggregate, non-personal information is collated by the Log Analyser and used by McIntyre Equipment to assist in analysing the usage of the Network. This software stores a “cookie” in the browser, which contains a unique identifier. This enables the Log Analyser to track the number of unique visitors to the Network. This information is collected and aggregated by the Log Analyser, and in no way does this unique identifier identify a user personally. McIntyre Equipment does not and will not marry any data collected by the Log Analyser with any personal information collected on the Network. If cookies are disabled in your browser, then the Log Analyser cannot track you as a unique visitor, and will consider you as a new visitor each time you browse a new page on the Network.
