Anyone who has experienced having to remove anti foul from a boat knows only too well how difficult a process this can be. While there are any number of products available on the market place including strippers and soda blasting a clean and simple alternative is the Tercoo Rotating Blaster. Designed using tungsten tip carbide, it comes in single, double and triple versions and fit onto a conventional drill. The tips are at a certain angle to the centre of the disk. During operation, the centrifugal force created by the rotational speed of the drill causes the flexible rubber disk to react in such a way, that a “hammer effect” is created with the tungsten carbide tips. This is an entirely opposite concept compared to other tools which use friction to remove contaminants and produce a lot of heat and work ineffectively with bitumen based products, tar, adhesives, tectyl etc..The Tercoo is not just suited to marine either but can be used for any application where a surface coating needs to be removed.

Things to consider when deciding on how best to remove antifoul or other coverings from your application:
- Area to be cleaned – Not all surfaces are the same and some will respond better than others. The Tercoo can remove a surface from just about anything including steel, iron and concrete
- Environment – The space you have to work in will determine which product you use to strip the material. The Tercoo Rotating Blaster not only creates low dust (compared to other options) but can be used in areas where soda or sand blasting are not an option.
- Coverage – Depending on the disk, Tercoo can cover are area from 3 up to 80 square meters.
